Club Monaco Tartan Cambridge Jacket

While not everything from Club Monaco is made in USA, in fact majority of their stuff is made "elsewhere", I still think this is a great effort by CM to support and utilize American craftsman. This jacket is amazing and is all style and is perfect for a cooler spring or an early fall.

Bowery Lane Bikes

NYC in the recent decade has become one of the capitals of cycling culture not only in USA but arguably in the world too, well maybe not when you compare it to Vietnam. But, Bowery bikes fully embrace what makes NYC the city that it is and lets you live that style with 2 wheels. Although not the oldest and not the most custom made, Bowery still fulfills that hand made niche that not only looks great but is built with functionality as one of the top requirements. This is true made in USA example of great.

Osmium Brakeman Jacket

This post is not so much just relating to the jacket, but to the overall brand -- Osmium.  Osmium was created based on a great philosophy -- the stylish and comfortable articles of clothing that become part of you and your life.   Take the Brakeman Jacket for example: it is made of all natural materials, there is no polyester here, all 100% wool with cotton lining.

I'm just really impressed by this brand, their breath of product and their overall commitment to Made in USA:

All of Osmium's products are cut and sewn in the United States. We may live in a global economy, but we can still support local businesses. Our supply chain starts with small batches of the best materials in the world:buttons from Italy, shirting from Japan, virgin Merino wool from the Andes. We bring these materials to American factories, where they are expertly crafted into our signature pieces.
Whether it's a vest from Chicago, a sweater from Los Angeles, or a shirt from Fall River, MA, each of our garments has taken a unique journey en route to your door.

If you would like to learn more about Osmium and read all about their official launch at the USA Love List blog.

Johnson Woolen Mills Hunting Jacket

Johnson Woolen Mills have been around since the late 1800's, and always in Vermont, so no, it wasn't started by hipsters for hipsters in Brooklyn or San Francisco. This was what people wore when they went out chopping wood, did farming and whatever else you do when it's cold outside and you live in pre-electricity era. You want to wear what's comfortable, will last a while and most importantly what will keep you warm. The jacket is the "hunting" jacket, and man are you going to be the most styling hunter around, but, if you're into pounding Pabst's, you'll also fit right in. These are a little pricy, but remember, you're not buying a trend but a timeless classic, which was born out of necessity and quality more so than out of a fashion statement. And as always, Made in the USA.
